Materials

• Wispy Clouds Fadeless® Designs Paper, 48" x 12', #P0056938 or 48" x 50', #P0056935

• Black Shiplap Fadeless® Designs Paper, 48" x 12', #P0056918

• Bordette® Decorative Border, 2-1/4" x 50', Black, #P0037304 & White, #P0037014

• Tru-Ray® Construction Paper, 9" x 12", Vibrant Assortment #P102940 & Black #P103029

• Corobuff® Corrugated Paper Sheets, 12" x 16", #P0071500

• Crepe Streamers, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple

• Stapler

• Scissors

• Double-sided tape (optional)

• Cricut machine (optional)

Step 1

Cover bulletin board with Wispy Clouds Fadeless® Designs Paper. To do this, first cut enough paper to cover the board. Find the center of the paper you’ve cut. Roll in edges in and secure at the bottom of the rolls with binder clips. Start securing the paper to the board by stapling at the top center. Roll the paper out to the left, stapling as you go. Roll out the remainder of the paper to the right stapling across the top. Then staple down the sides and bottom, smoothing the paper as you go along. Cut off excess paper around edges. (For our “How to” video go to: youtu.be/0BW84xgH3fo). Then attach Black Bordette® around edges.

Step 2

Next prepare bulletin board components. First download and enlarge letter templates 400% and cut from Tru-Ray® Construction Paper. Or if using a Cricut use our files* at: bit.ly/39tQ1jR. Attach letters to board.

Step 3

To make the large paintbrush download and enlarge the paintbrush template 700%. First cut a large heavy board or cardboard into the paintbrush handle shape (approx. size: 18"W x 40"H). Cover with Black Shiplap Fadeless® Designs Paper. Then cut paintbrush bristles (approx. size: 18"W x 12"H) from Black Corobuff® Corrugated Paper and attach to the bottom of the handle. Cover seam with a strip of White Bordette® Decorative Border. Attach the completed paintbrush to the board.

Step 4

Final steps, cut lengths of crepe streamers, one in each color, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple. First attach ends under paintbrush bristles. Twist each streamer and attach other ends under Bordette® edge on the left.

Step 5
