Step 1

Cover bulletin board with Lavender Haze Fadeless® Inspired By Schoolgirl Style™ Paper. To do this, first cut enough paper to cover the board. Find the center of the paper you’ve cut. Roll in edges in and secure at the bottom of the rolls with binder clips. Start securing the paper to the board by stapling at the top center. Roll the paper out to the left or right, stapling as you go. Roll out the remainder of the paper to the other side stapling across the top. Then staple down the sides and bottom, smoothing the paper as you go along. Cut off excess paper around edges. (For our “How to” video go to: youtu.be/0BW84xgH3fo).

Step 2

Prepare bulletin board components. Print the letters at 200% on the black paper of the Tru-Ray® Classic Assortment and cut away the excess paper, or use the Cricut link to use a Cricut to cut the letters: bit.ly/3Nw8771. Tape the letters to the board using double-sided tape.

Step 3

To make the hot air balloons, cut two 14" circles from the UCreate® Premium Poster Board. Cut several 1" x 18" strips of multiple colors of the Tru-Ray® Classic Assortment. Print the baskets at 200% onto the brown paper of the Tru-Ray® Classic Assortment and cut away the excess paper. Tape the strips onto half of the back of the cut circles.

Step 4

Then, start taping the other side of the strips to the other side of the circle to create a dome with the paper strips. To keep the balloon's domed shape, you can stuff the balloon with a few sheets of tissue paper and tape them to the poster board. Cut four yarn pieces approximately 14" long for each hot air balloon and tape to the back of the hot air balloons along the bottom of the balloons. Tape the other end of the yarn pieces to the basket pieces.

Step 5

Attach the hot air balloons to the board using double-sided tape.

Step 6

Print the clouds at 200% onto the white paper of the Tru-Ray® Classic Assortment. Tape the clouds to the board using double-sided tape.

Step 7

To complete the board, tape or glue the Nile Green Bordette® on the edges of the board.

Step 8

Tape or glue Royal Blue Bordette® on top of the Nile Green Bordette® and trim away the excess.
